Even higher yields yield in the central temperate climate. The beds are decorated with tall spreading bushes. The richer the soil is or the more fertilizers are introduced, the higher this potatoes will grow. This indicates that it must be constantly mown, otherwise the tops will fall, break down, hurt, and this will destroy all the expected results.

Depending on the region, the vegetative period varies on average from 90 to 110 days. “Aurora” can adequately occupy one of the first places for its taste qualities, respectively, potatoes are widely used in cooking. It is suitable for most dishes. Also worth noting that these tubers do not boil, do not become watery. If the potatoes are cultivated in regions with a warmer and damp climate, the Aurora can yield two crops per season. Fertility starch is good – 17%. That positively affects the nutritional value of the potato “Aurora”. This variety is grown both for sale and for the processing industry. What can not but affect the good transportability, resistance to mechanical damage. Also, the variety has an excellent marketable appearance, which affects its demand. It is beneficial to grow “Aurora” and because the variety yields good yields of sufficiently large potatoes. So, the mass on average reaches 130 grams. On one bush at the same time, from 10 to 15 such potatoes can be formed. Skin is thin, has a white shade with reddish spots, the flesh is yellow, the fruit surface is smooth. The eyes are small. A great advantage for which the Aurora variety is valued by buyers and farmers is a long shelf life. So, already in the new season you can eat last year’s potatoes, which for a year has not lost its qualities and appearance. Up to 95% of tubers are perfectly preserved. The average yield can vary from 250 to 400 quintals per hectare. Everything depends on the climate in the region and the fertility of soils. But this is not the ultimate capacity of the variety, since experience has shown that potatoes “Aurora” can yield more than 400 quintals.
The variety is planted from late April to May. The first crops can be obtained in late June, July. In a cooler region this is July-August. Every year a place for planting potatoes should be alternated for different cultures. Do not put potatoes after tomatoes, eggplants, peppers. This is connected with the fact that, for example, tomato and potato have similar diseases and insect pests. It is also important that tomatoes and peppers take a lot of nutrients from the soil, which does not allow the potato tubers to develop fully
This potato is considered to be one of the best, the agronomists advise it for planting both for large areas and for small household plots. And on that, and in another place, the variety will give an excellent result.
