The care for the Italian goose is simple – the “babies” grow unusually fast, and by the two months their weight usually reaches four kilograms. This means that goslings can be stuck in case of need and get the right amount of meat

Also, gourmets are highly valued liver of the Italian goose, the impressive size of which can reach up to seven percent of the total body weight. The average weight of the liver is 400 grams. It is from the liver of the Italian goose that they make the expensive and famous delicacy – goose pate. This fact is an indisputable advantage when choosing a breed of geese for breeding

This positive characteristic makes the Italian geese an excellent object for crossing, which is what successful breeders use. Currently, they are distributed throughout the country.
