If you decide to do pig farming, then it’s worth paying attention to such a breed as a large black one. It is famous for its universality, i. e. represented by the breed line, has a meat-and-fat purpose of its productivity.
Large black pigs have a powerful constitution and the correct proportions of the trunk. The body of pigs of this breed is elongated. The head of the animal has a mediocre length, huge ears, hanging over the eyes. Neck with well-formed muscles, short build and quite strong.
The chest is of sufficient depth, barrel-shaped. Back is elongated, spacious addition with a wide loin. Hams have rounded shapes that descend to the level of the hocks. The limbs are quite strong build, the claws are strong, the correct set. The presented breed also has its drawbacks if you study carefully the exterior, for example, the tendency of the skin to form wrinkles and the saddle ass.
A mature boar of a large black breed will be able to reach an average weight of three hundred and fifty kilograms, and a sow up to two hundred and eighty kilograms. The yield of meat in the carcass is fifty percent, and the fat is forty percent.
A large black rock is distinguished by its many-sided farrowing. One pig can breed up to 12 piglets. The milk is equal to sixty kilograms, or even higher. Approximately half a year old, the young, being on meat fattening, gaining weight in almost one hundred kilograms.
The method of crossing a large black breed of pigs with a large white breed is very popular among avid stock-breeders. The result of this crossing is extremely successful. The safety of the obtained young growth can increase, vitality persists.

Breeders and livestock breeders are engaged in active, purposeful activities related to this breed of pigs. For breeding, pigs with good bone are used, with a well-developed thorax, an elongated body and well-filled hams.
Essential advantages of the black large represent a perfectly built constitution, the correct proportions of the trunk, high rates of prolific farrowing, which reach up to 12 piglets at a time. Of the obvious shortcomings, you can pay attention to shortcomings in the exterior of animals, for example, as already mentioned above, the predisposition of the skin to the formation of folds and hanging ass.
Because of the pig’s odnokamerny stomach feed, rich in fiber, poorly digested. These pigs are different from cattle, and hence their diets will vary considerably. It is best to include concentrates in the feed, and green and coarse food should be avoided or given as little as possible.
