Cultivation of geese is labor-intensive, but it quickly pays for itself, including preparing a room for keeping birds, buying feed and vitamin supplements, and sowing grazing with suitable herbs for geese consumption.
The place where the goslings will be placed must be warm enough, dry, clean and well ventilated. Still very small goslings should be placed in a wooden box or cardboard box and contain some time in the house, providing heating of the room with a conventional incandescent lamp, or electric tiles. In the case when the goslings are initially grown exclusively in the house, care must be taken to prevent the penetration of domestic cats, dogs, weasels, foxes and martens into it. It is advisable to think about the possibility of such penetration at the construction stage of the bird, equipping it with a good solid foundation.
Goose in food is not fastidious, but it should be understood that the more useful and nutritious food will be, the faster they will grow, and the less their number will die from various diseases. Small goslings from birth and up to 1-2 weeks are fed exceptionally finely chopped boiled egg, millet, greens and cottage cheese. Instead of regular water, goslings can be given sweet milk and whey. All ingredients should be ground to a minimum size, be crumbly and dry, without creating a risk for the fragile goose nasopharynx.
Often, grown-up goslings, kept in one cowshed with other birds and animals, are not inherently inherent in the latter diseases, for example, young geese can get lice in the shed without getting cleanliness, which will not be so easy to get rid of.

Gusiat, not reaching the age of 1 month, are most often at risk of infection with salmonella, cholera and other infectious diseases, whose treatment, in most cases, does not give results, due to the complexity of timely detection of the disease.
