Corn is the most valuable component of the ration of young animals. Barley and oats should be sieved from hard shells up to 20 days before use. In daily feeding, you must enter chopped greens. This contributes to the rapid growth of chicks.

During the first three weeks they have augmented muscle building, so they need food rich in protein. From 2-3 days should be added to their diet cottage cheese in the norm of 3-5 years. for one individual. All dairy products contain protein, which is necessary for young animals in large quantities. At this stage, the diet of ducklings is also required to include bone and fish flour, peas.

The emphasis on protein foods should be done in the first half of fattening, in the second period ducklings should accumulate fat mass. From that moment, the amount of protein food is reduced and more green is injected. The grain is gradually removed from the composition of the sticks and given to the chicks in the evening feeding.

Yeast feed also helps the ducklings to gain weight better. Yeast increases appetite, they are sources of vitamins D and B. It is prepared in the following way: in 1 500 ml of warm water, in which 30 g of yeast is diluted, 1 kg of flour is introduced. Mass carefully knead and clean in a warm place.
